Rain Barrel Silent Auction
Saturday 10am-5 pm & Sunday 10am-4pm, in Washington Park
Save money on your gardening this season, and take home your own piece of sustainable, functional art by bidding on a hand-painted rain barrel! Local schools, non-profits, and youth organizations constructed and decorated each unique barrel, and all of the proceeds from the silent auction will be given back to the artists. Members of Green Dubuque will be onsite at the auction to answer questions about using rain barrels and why water conservation is so important. This project was made possible by generous donations from Steve’s Ace Hardware, Dubuque Stamping & Manufacturing, Inc., Mautz Sherwin-Williams, and Luthor Manor.
